My name is JaNan Duncan...I am 52 years old...married and have 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren. I have been reborning for about 4 years. I have a long history in art...starting in the first grade! I have always had some creative outlet...sewing, crochet, painting, ceramics, cakes, wall murals...I LOVE ART! But when I discovered reborning...it quickly became my passion. I work very hard to make each baby One Of A Kind, adding lots of detail...and not just the baby, but also the layette and accessories and auction page. I have been playing in clay a bit...not really sculpting yet...just adding bits to some of my babies (like the tongue for Taylor pictured below). I often change a sculpt by widening the eyes, or changing head shape, adding tongues..that kind of thing. So...who knows? maybe sculpting will be next.
