My name is Symara Feitosa and I am the artist behind Little Butterflies Nursery.

I came to the US in 2000 to study Opera, and, after so many years studying I decided that I didn't want that career anymore..I was a little sad about it, and, as every artist, you have to be surrounded by art, you breath and live art, so it didn't take very long until I came across reborning art and fell deeply in love with it. I almost don't miss singing..LOL

I started reborning in 2007 and haven't stopped since. As a reborn artist I am developing my own technique and styles and I've improved a lot in such a short time. I can't put up a baby for adoption until I am fully satisfied with the realism and results. I make each baby as if they were for myself and I couldn't sell a baby I wouldn't buy.

As an artist I strive to achieve the highest quality in my abilities to always bring you the best baby I can create.

I am also always letting the 'baby" take control of it's creation..I let the sculpt guide my imagination and I think this makes every single baby unique and with their own personality. Each baby I create is One Of A Kind and can't be duplicated in all details. Even if I try to make the same baby, it will never capture the same feel and personality.

The reborn/newborning process takes many long hours and lots of love dedicated to each one of them. I find it really hard to put my babies for adoption as my love for them grows with each second I have them in my hands, but it is so rewarding to know that one of my babies made someone really happy and that the new "mom" will love them and cherish them the same way I do.

I only use genesis heat set paints that will never fade, crack or chip. These paints are wonderful and really create very lifelike skin tones. I only use the best mohair available to always give the softest head of baby hair that the new mom can style as she desires. The babies are weighted with poly pellets and fine glass beads do it can be shipped anywhere in the world.

Each baby is a one of a kind (OOAK) collectible heirloom to be loved and passed down through generations.
